So many people I personally know, and others out there have tried different diet plans and will lose some weight then fall off track- I'm guilty of this one, lose no weight at all, or will lose tons of weight but gain most if not all of it back. My advice? Stop dieting. Seriously, most of those "diet plans" actually set you up for failure because no matter how specific they try to be with your details - they'll never know you as well as you know yourself. You have to also take into consideration the preservatives used in prepacked meals and all the stuff that goes into energy tablets or drinks.
Your personal eating plan should be just that - personal. Let me explain. In my own personal journey, I see how I'm very limited according to some of the top diet plans out there. I will not eat avocado's, cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, yogurts of any kind - especially the Greek yogurts. Stay more than five feet away from me with the Greek yogurts. I cannot keep these things down. While these are good sources of good fats - heart healthy fats, they are of no use for me. Most diet plans out there want to cram these food choices down my throat and it's not going to happen. So, you see after dumping all of my persona data into those commercial weight loss apps and meal plans and trackers, they don't know me.
On the surface it may appear than I am stuck with no hope of a future being healthy. That's just not so. Today, I'm going to share testimonies from two lovely ladies that have lost a great deal of weight by not dieting - at all.
Kimberly's meal plan utilizes plant-based foods (some home-grown) and on occasion grass fed beef and some chicken. Kimberly's other trick is she walks. What started out as 3 miles a day back in March of this year has turned into 6 miles a day and she has lost 39 lbs. since.
Angie eats normal foods as well and she practices an intermittent fasting routine. She started walking in January of this year and has lost 25 lbs. Cutting back on sugars and adding walking has given her an advantage in gaining back her health and losing weight.
These two inspiring ladies neither use diet pills nor diet food or diet programs and they are working what works for them. They didn't use my services as a life coach either.
You can do the same thing and save hundreds of dollars. It takes understanding a little something about how food works in and for your body, adding some level of movement such as walking or easy to moderate exercise and practicing some self-preservation instead of eating everything in sight.
